Mohamed Salah reveals new hairstyle and ripped physique on holiday

Mohamed Salah wowed fans on Saturday by unveiling his shock new hairstyle and shredded abs on social media, having opted to shave off his trademark afro.

The Egyptian, whom many fans are ‘convinced’ has had a hair transplant this summer, teased his fresh look on Instagram last month and appears to be delighted with the results.

And it’s not just Salah’s hairstyle that’s changing at Liverpool. Perhaps marking the start to a new era, the 32-year-old forward will have a new manager in the dugout next season with Arne Slot preparing for his debut campaign in the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp’s fruitful nine-year reign at the club came to an end this summer after the German decided to call time on his Anfield career.

Taking to social media platform X on Saturday, Salah shared his complete new look as he posed with shredded abs by the pool on holiday.

Another agreed: ‘I’ve never seen a player increase his aura after a buzz cut.’

A further fan joked: ‘Three things and certain in life. Death, Taxes and Mo salah scoring 19 goals and 10 assists next season.’

A fourth fan wrote: ‘Since I was about 12 I’ve had a theory that footballers play infinitely better when they’ve had a fresh trim. Congratulations on your 40 G/A next season Mo’

Meanwhile a fifth added: ‘Our leading man just out there having a proper holiday while everyone else is stressing. Love that for him.’

In his seventh season at Anfield the Egyptian was as pivotal as ever for the Reds despite a hamstring issue in the new year.

18 Premier League goals in 32 games marked his lowest league return since joining the club in 2017, a statistic that only underscores his incredible achievements at Anfield.
