Champions League Fans Criticize ‘Annoying’ Violin Act Before Final After Linkin Park

Champions League final viewers brutally blasted the ‘annoying’ violin act prior to kick-off between Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain in Munich.

German violin maestro David Garrett performed during the pre-match pomp and circumstance, presenting a rearranged version of the White Stripes hit Seven Nation Army while Javier Pastore and Javier Zanetti brought out the trophy.

Seven Nation Army, released in 2003, has become an undisputed sporting anthem but Garrett’s rendition appears to have gone down like a lead balloon.

UEFA declared the bizarre performance was designed to ‘encapsulate the excitement and artistry of the moment, echoing the anticipation’.

However, social media users on X clearly couldn’t disagree more.
