Travis Kelce may be on the sideline for the Chiefs’ final preseason game, but that has not stopped intense speculation that the NFL star wanted to be at the DNC instead.
Before the last night of the four-day Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Thursday, CBS’ Gayle King said she was ‘told’ that the 34-year-old Travis wanted to make an appearance at the political event.
‘We have not been able to confirm the Beyonce/Taylor Swift rumors, and they are rampant down there, let me tell you,’ said a fellow CBS newscaster at first live on-air.
‘Well, you know the Taylor Swift rumors are interesting to me, because I was told a couple of days ago that Travis Kelce also had reached out to the Harris campaign when it was first announced and said that he wanted to be here on the night that [Kamala] was speaking,’ replied King. ‘We’ll see if that is true.’
