Aaron Rodgers Sack Causes Nasty Knee Injury for Morgan Moses in Win Over Patriots

Jets offensive tackle Morgan Moses appeared to suffer a nasty knee injury during a sack on Aaron Rodgers on Thursday night.

At the end of the third quarter of New York’s emphatic win over the New England Patriots, Rodgers was brought down by Joshua Uche as he tried to make a play.

But, as Uche dragged Rodgers to the floor, the defender’s body rotated and rolled up on Moses’ leg – causing it to buckle awkwardly.

Moses was immediately writhing on the floor in agony but, after some treatment, eventually managed to walk off the field.

He went into the blue medical tent for more treatment and then walked off the field before getting carted back to the locker room. Rookie Olu Fashanu came in to replace him for the fourth quarter.

The sack on Rodgers came just moments after Uche was penalized for a brutally late hit on the quarterback.

It proved to be the perfect return to MetLife Stadium for Rodgers, though, just 12 months after suffering a season-ending Achilles injury four plays into his Jets debut.

More to follow.
