Joining first is Chris Weidman, who opens up about his long journey back from his gruesome leg injury before finally telling the guys his thoughts on how he matches up in Saturday’s fight against Brad Tavares. While he may have relocated to South Carolina, Weidman explains why he’s a Long Islander at heart and dishes his thoughts on Serra-Longo teammate Aljamain Sterling’s bantamweight title defense against Sean O’Malley in Saturday’s main event.

While waiting for Neil Magny to hop on the call, Jim and Matt take a deeper dive into Saturday’s card, issuing their respective thoughts on matchups from the early prelims all the way up to the two title fights atop the pay-per-view card.

When Neil arrives, he shares why he believes training in altitude combined with his reach and experience, give him confidence that he’ll be the one to give rising Irish welterweight Ian Machado Garry his first ever loss in a fight that Magny accepted on short notice in place of Geoff Neal.

Finally, the guys plug Saturday’s fights and wrap up the show by plugging the UFC’s Matchmaker Sweepstakes, which you can still enter before Saturday’s card kicks off by going to ufc.com/matchmaker and inputting your dream fight card for a chance to win two tickets to UFC 295 in Madison Square Garden alongside a chance to meet Dana White and the matchmakers.

  1. Wtf. I never want to see Weidman fight again. He’s gonna show the world you shouldn’t fight again after breaking your leg. Focus eyes on Weidman Conor, lol

  2. Jesus Christ is Lord and God, Jesus Christ Saves, Believe in Him. Believe – 1 Corinthians 15 Chapter 1 to 4; Romans 10 Chapter 9 : 10; The New Testament – Bible. Glory and Thanks to Lord and God Jesus Christ.

  3. I can support Weidman coming back getting a win but when he acts like he's making a title run I roll my eyes. He wasn't making a title run before the leg injury. Dude is approaching 40 and is 2- 6 in his last 8. His chin is gone and he's slowed down alot. He might beat Brad but he isn't cracking the top 5. Not hating, just telling the truth. People can't handle it.

  4. Let’s go! Great to see Chris Weidman back from injury, one of my all time favorite UFC champions, his MW title reign was a treat, hope he gets the win at UFC 292 😊👏👏👏👏

  5. On your next episode you should talk about tim welch cornering. He is not much of a coach but more of a heckler, i wish the ufc would show suga's coach cam during his fight to see what tim is saying to suga's opponents. He should be expose for how much of a bad coach he is, even the ref told him to shut up before the second round started during the aljo fight. Im a suga fan but his coach is a straight up deuchbag, all of suga's pass opponents would say something bout tim being a distraction
