Fans were left stunned after internet personality Angry Ginge produced a stunning goal-line clearance during Soccer Aid.
The 23-year-old took to the pitch for England in the clash against World XI at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, in the 14th edition of the event.
The match featured legends of the game such as Wayne Rooney, Rivaldo and David Trezeguet – but it was the 23-year-old streamer who stole the show in the first-half.
In the 20th minute of the match, David Trezeguet thought he’d levelled the score – following an opening goal from Rooney – after lifting the ball over Joe Hart.
However, internet star ‘Ginge’ – real name Morgan Burtwhistle – came to the rescue as he dived across the goal and poked the ball away from goal.
Burtwhistle immediately rose to his feet and pumped his fists in the air towards the crowd at Old Trafford.

It didn’t take long for fans to laud the clearance from the Man United fan and some even suggested he was better than the defenders in the squad.
One fan wrote: ‘Honestly Angry Ginge is better than anyone else playing for a home team at Old Trafford lately, the sliding tackle earlier and that clearance. Fantastic stuff’.
‘That clearance from ginge was unreal’, another said. Similarly, one user wrote: ‘Beautiful clearance from ginge #SoccerAid2025’.
‘Angry ginge is going to live off that clearance for decades’, another wrote.
The 23-year-old made a name for himself streaming online to thousands of viewers while he plays games with friends – including Soccer Aid team-mate Rooney.
In April last year, Rooney became the latest sporting star to represent Girth N Turf, with teenage darts sensation Luke Littler another to have played Pro Clubs online for them.

In one incident after playing, Rooney stated his desire to play again in the future, saying: ‘If yous [sic] want us back I’ll be back.’
The 38-year-old was quickly met with a joking jibe from Burtwistle, who declared: ‘You can come back tomorrow, mate. Don’t be s*** again.’
This caused Rooney to respond with a light-hearted jab of his own as he hit back with: ‘Ah, you ginger ****!’.
