Buccaneers star Chris Godwin appeared to declare ‘back to work’ just moments after his 2024 season was ended by a dislocated ankle.
Tampa Bay’s star receiver was carted off in the final moments of Monday night’s loss against the Baltimore Ravens.
Godwin’s left leg could be seen facing the wrong direction after he was tackled to the turf at Raymond James Stadium.
His leg was placed in an air cast as he was taken off the field, with cameras capturing Godwin talking to a member of Bucs medical staff.
‘Back to work,’ he seemed to say and his comment drew praise from NFL fans, who hailed the 28-year-old’s resolve and attitude.
