Happy to see one of my favourite fighters get the victory, big respect to RDA as well, a legit former UFC champion.
Watching RDA display such terrible fight IQ was really surprising. He was doing more damage than Luque with his striking, but he kept shooting against the cage, getting immediately turned around, and then controlled by the bigger fighter. Look I get that a ground attack was you’re gameplan, but wtf dude , make an adjustment. You finally got a TD in R2 but Luque was up immediately and put you back against the cage. How do you keep doing that shit when you’re strikes are finding the mark? Luque was about 2 hard shots from going down there at the end. Imagine if RDA hadn’t spent over 10 minutes pressed against the cage. He probably would have gotten a R3 or 4 TKO.

Rda is not that good. He is not that good of a grappler that he thinks he is. He basically spammed failed takedowns. And hugged. Clicnhed against the fence. This while gight was jockeyimg for position on the fence. Zzzzzz zzzzzxzx

Two main events in a row where the fighter losing ignored their corner and shot for takedowns in 5th round instead of going for the knockout. If these guys are so scared of suffering brain damage and are ok losing a decision than just retire and stop wasting everyone’s time. I’m realizing now the prelims are so much better because it’s full of fighters who are hungry and are actually willing to put their bodies on the line

Failed strategy by RDA, he was far better with striking in the middle of the cage. Instead he threw away his chanche every time he was looking for a double leg. Fight IQ was low.
