Enzo Maresca is eager for Chelsea to retain Noni Madueke this summer, however the Blues are reportedly willing to offload him if they receive a suitable offer.

The England international, who moved to Stamford Bridge from PSV Eindhoven for a fee of €35 million in January 2023, was a regular under Maresca last season, but his future in west London now appears increasingly uncertain.

Madueke scored 11 goals and provided five assists in 42 appearances across all competitions last season, however Chelsea will listen to offers for his services, according to multiple reports.

Arsenal are among the clubs keeping tabs on his situation, as revealed by The Telegraph’s Matt Law, and Madueke could be forced to leave Stamford Bridge this summer despite the fact he still has five years remaining on his current contract with the west London giants.

Will Chelsea sell Noni Madueke?

While Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital and Chelsea’s sporting directors are evidently open to selling Madueke, Maresca isn’t so keen.

Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s Club World Cup fixture against Flamengo on Friday, the Blues boss told reporters: “Noni is our player, you can read a lot of speculation at the moment but we consider Noni our player for the coming season.”

As a result, if Madueke is sold this summer, it’s clear that Chelsea’s hierarchy will have directly defied their head coach, who has admitted that he wants to retain the England star.

Although Chelsea will reportedly consider offers for Madueke, it may take an eye-catching bid for them to part ways with the 23-year-old – whose Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €51.5 million.
