Tottenham star Destiny Udogie is set to return in time for the clash with Manchester United on Sunday, according to a report.
Udogie is among the 12 first-team Spurs players to have missed the 2-1 defeat by Aston Villa in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
The 22-year-old has not featured since suffering a hamstring problem in the club’s 2-2 draw with Wolves on December 29.
But according to The Sun, Udogie has recovered in time to face Man United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday in a welcome boost for under-fire manager Ange Postecoglou.
Spurs have been forced to field a makeshift defence with Udogie out alongside centre backs Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero.
Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario has not played since fracturing his ankle in the 4-0 thrashing of Man City in November, while defender Radu Dragusin has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after tearing his ACL during last week’s Europa League game against.

Postecoglou is also under severe pressure but launched a passionate defence of his players, claiming every club would struggle as Spurs have done with 12 first-teamers missing.
‘I don’t care how people judge me but don’t judge this group of players,’ Postecoglou said. ‘People can say I have done a bad job or that I’m not up to it and that’s fine,’ the Australian said.
‘Look at what this group have been doing for two-and-a-half months. It can’t be that people think (the injury situation) is an excuse.
‘That’s just not anywhere near close to objective analysis. That’s just agenda driven stuff. If it’s to get rid of me that’s fine. Good on you. Go for it a million times. But what this group has given is outstanding. Credit to them.’
The clash with United on Sunday pits 14th against 13th, with Ruben Amorim’s men also struggling in the league this season.
