In desperate need of adding bodies to their roster, the Kansas City Chiefs have added some much-needed help in their defensive secondary.
According to multiple reports, the team has signed former Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Kristian Fulton to a two-year, $20million which has $15m guaranteed.
Last season, the 26-year-old defensive back finished with 51 total tackles (39 solo tackles) and one interception on seven passes defended.
Fulton is now set to be on his third NFL team since being drafted in 2020.
A member of the heralded LSU 2019 national championship winning team, Fulton was picked 61st overall (2nd round) by the Tennessee Titans.
Injuries and a bout of Covid in his rookie season limited his debut campaign to just six games.
Subsequent injuries in the 2021, 2022, and 2023 seasons also limited his output and production.
After the conclusion of his rookie contract, Fulton opted for free agency and inked a one-year, $3.1m deal with the Chargers.
Across his career, Fulton has managed 201 combined tackles and 155 solo tackles along with five interceptions.
