Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr are ready to make a surprise move for a Manchester United star who could arrive at the Saudi Pro League side hot on the heels of Joao Felix.

Portugal international attacker Felix has been earmarked by Ronaldo to arrive at the club from Chelsea. The Saudi outfit have hijacked Benfica’s move for the forward and are ready to complete a deal worth around €30 million.

But Al-Nassr are not ready to stop there. Ronaldo could be joined in Riyadh by Man Utd winger Antony.

The Brazilian winger is one of several players earmarked to leave United this summer, having failed to impress since making a €95m move from Ajax under the instruction of Erik ten Hag.

He spent the second half of last season on loan at Real Betis, where he shone, but the Spanish side could not afford to sign him permanently.

“Antony is the closest winger to Al-Nassr at this moment,” it is claimed by Saudi journalists.

Ronaldo picks Antony for Saudi move

Ronaldo will personally have OKed the move for the Brazil star, with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner having assumed more of a say in the running of the club since signing a new deal in the summer.

Antony could be a direct replacement for Jhon Duran, who lasted only six months in Saudi before moving to Fenerbahce on loan, citing personal difficulties.

Man Utd will not oppose such a move and will certainly be open to doing business with Al-Nassr given the Pro League’s tendency to pay over the odds for players – even those already on the transfer list.

Antony’s Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has risen to €41m off the back of his sparkling displays with Real Betis, and if Man Utd could nudge this up a little more, it would allow them to re-enter the transfer window and sign the centre-forward that Ruben Amorim craves.

As well as Antony, Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia and Alejandro Garnacho are all earmarked for summer sales after Marcus Rashford was loaned out to Barcelona.
