Manchester United are reportedly ready to sell Rasmus Hojlund if they receive an offer worth €34.5 million (£30m).
The Denmark international has endured a tough spell at Old Trafford, following his arrival from Atalanta for a whopping €77.8m in 2023, and a summer exit is on the cards amid the Red Devils’ pursuit of Benjamin Sesko.
In fact, The Times and BBC Sport claim that Ruben Amorim’s side will sanction a sale for just €34.5m, despite the fact Hojlund’s Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €47.2m.
The Red Devils have a limited transfer budget this summer and they view the 22-year-old as one of their most sellable assets as they look to raise funds in order to match Newcastle United’s bid for the aforementioned Sesko.
Rasmus Hojlund wants to stay at Man Utd
Although Man Utd are open to selling Hojlund this summer, the Denmark international has reportedly rejected the chance to join RB Leipzig, despite being heavily linked with the Bundesliga outfit.
Furthermore, he recently confirmed his desire to remain at Old Trafford for the foreseeable future.
“I think the most important thing for me is just to keep working hard and stay focused, and then obviously we’ll see what happens,” Hojlund told reporters after Man Utd’s 4-1 pre-season victory over Bournemouth last week.
“I think my plan is very clear, and that is for me to stay and fight for my spot, whatever happens. Competition is fine with me. It sharpens me. I’m more than ready. I’m feeling sharp so I welcome everything that comes.”
Hojlund added: “I’m still very young. I think people forget that sometimes. I’m only 22. Obviously, not every striker is scoring 100 goals at the age of 22. But I’ve learned a lot, I think you can see in my game. I’m starting to develop and become even better in the basics.
“Now it’s just about for me to sharpen myself, and I’ve done very well in the pre-season so far. Just focusing on continuing that.”
