You can just tell when the first clip is a Mariners hit, then when the first Yankees clip is a strikeout, that set the pace for a Yankees loss

Yankees always seem to have a clunker like this anytime they're on the verge of putting something together. This series represents the Aaron Judge-less Yankees in a nutshell. The offense generally won't score more than 3-4 runs a game but they at least have a chance if the starting pitching is lights out. Right now they have absolutely no chance when the pitching is bad since this version of their lineup definitely isn't capable of winning any shootouts.
Imagine giving up 10 runs as a Starting pitcher wow.

Great job by Brian Woo, although I wish he was left in there to complete the sixth inning with as big of a lead as the Mariners had.
Finally got some offense but we need thisevery game. On to Baltimore for 3. We need to win 2 of 3 to hopefully turn the season around so the team can believe they can beat the good teams

I don't normally look at slumps this way, but the Marlins got 1 more hit than the Yanks 7 & got 2 more runs. Ok, I'm splitting hairs here, but when a team that cost so much plays so poorly for so long, ya gotta find something hopeful.
