The Azul looked a lot better today than in the last two games, blowing late-inning scores and walk-off wins by Cinci. The bullpen hasn't looked so great.
King K was on top of almost everything. His curve and the slider looked good and he still has great movement on 'Uncle Charlie'. The ball looks like it's falling off of a table coming to the plate. Now you see it, now you don't.
On to Philly tomorrow!

All they needed was Kershaw to keep the bats quiet, and they finally got one.
Even tho the Reds lost today and might be bad this year but it’s gonna be fun watching the reds in the next few year

Good win for the boys in blue. The Freight Train is really hot of late. Keep him in the line-up.
Considering "they've" been claiming Clayto should retire as far back as 2019-2020 it's an absolute joy to see Clayto remake himself from fireballer 95-96 mph high heat to 91-93 mph fastball with incredible slider/cut fastball and still one of the top curveballs in baseball incredible 205 wins against only 88 losses 100 strikeouts until Clayton hits the magic 3000. What's incredible is his strikeout rate hasn't gone down with any significance even though he's lost at least three miles an hour on his average fastball. Every time he hits the mount I make sure to savor the occasion we are blessed to witness greatness and most likely will not be able to witness this every five or six days two or three years from now. We are blessed to have him around here in 2023.
Considering Julio, Dustin, Walker all IL we are doing well to be only a game back.
We pray fervently that Austin Barnes who has finally started to break out of his slump is OK with no broken or hairline fractured bone(s) in his hand the Cincinnata pitcher hit in the 8th inning.
If pitching did well, this would have happened all 3 games of the series.
