After beginning the show with an update on his physical health after a lengthy layoff, Michael Chiesa follows up with his desired plans for what’s next in the cage following the cancellation of his return fight against Li Jingliang due to his opponent’s injury.

After a brief chat about last Saturday’s UFC Vegas 72 card, Jim shifts the topic towards the upcoming UFC 288 card, Chiesa provides his detailed opinion on what’s in store for former two-division champion Henry Cejudo as he makes his return to a stacked bantamweight division against champion Aljamain Sterling.

As Chiesa wraps up his thoughts on the main event with a prediction for the fight, the guys wrap up the show by unpacking the circumstances surrounding the short-notice co-main event between welterweight contenders Belal Muhammad and Gilbert Burns.

  1. We want to see Kevin Lee, not Michael Chiesa.

Dana did him wrong, wrong. Trinaldo was a seasoned martial artist and Kevin Lee won handily against him just like how he won against Chiesa.

Absolutely no reason for his forced exit, especially while Conor is still in the UFC after all of his antics.

  2. Honestly, nobody cares what this average fighter has to say. He's not accomplished at all. He should never make the commentary team. Anthony Smith is better suited

  3. 14:05 Henry told us. It was about money. He felt, for all his accomplishments, he was not fairly compensated. Of course this being a UFC program you two certainly won’t discuss this.

Edit: 16:35 [interesting edit] Perhaps it was brought up but edited out. Hmmm

  4. All I here is excuses why this guy isn't fighting. When inthe same division Burns is fighting 3 times in 4 months, some fighters like Adesanya came to UFC with 100 fights. Many fighters fight with those small injuries, like Sterling this weekend. Lazy guy this one 😅
