Rasmus Hojlund is closing in on an exit from Manchester United, with the striker set to join Napoli in the coming days.

Hojlund has not featured for United this season and has fallen down the pecking order under Ruben Amorim following the arrival of Benjamin Sesko this summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Napoli have struck a club-to-club agreement with United that will see them sign Hojlund on loan with an obligation to buy for €45 million next summer.

Romano claimed in his recent YouTube video that Napoli were ‘fixing something’ on the player’s side before expecting the 22-year-old to travel for a medical and sign his contract with the Italian side.

Hojlund has been offered a deal until 2030 and his agent is in Naples to finalise talks, although personal terms have not been struck as of yet.

Man Utd pushing to finalise outgoings

United are also in talks with Real Betis over a deal for Antony, with the La Liga side focused on bringing the winger back to the club after a successful loan spell last season.

Betis are hoping to push for another loan but United have yet to agree a structure of a deal despite Antony holding out for the Spaniards and rejecting interest from elsewhere even with the Brazilian having no future at Old Trafford.

Romano claimed that a deal for Antony could ‘happen soon’ with negotiations restarted on Thursday night and both sides being in ‘constant’ discussions.

The departures would likely allow United to secure a deal for Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens for a fee close to €20m, with the Belgian already having agreed personal terms.
