Power slap is a circus and circuses attracts eyeballs. I’m embarrassed to say it but I had never watched a UFC event until after Mayweather boxed Mcgregor. No one in my circle ever watched UFC and I grew up with basic television (PBS and local news) so I never came across the UFC on spike tv or whatever cable channel it was on.
The first fight I’d ever seen was Mcgregor vs Khabib. After that, I was hooked but had it not been for the crossover with Mayweather who knows if I’d ever given UFC a chance. Ive been subscribed to ESPN+ with the fight pass for years now and I never miss a single fight night and I drag all my friends to the PPV cards. Just watched Dvalishvili completely outclass Yan tonight.
I’m also invested in EDR (parent company of UFC on the stock market) so whatever brings revenue to the company, I’m down for. Look how ridiculous Jake Paul is and look at how many people talk about him. If Dana has power slap to get people taking then he’s definitely doing his job. I don’t care how dumb it is, there’s some percentage of fans out there’s that will get hooked on UFC from it and that’s good for the company.

This match was fkn rigged bc judges didn't call any fouls on Frost after he flinched 2x and stepped 1x then to top it all off he won it too!
I really liked this new sport until it became clear the judges are more crooked than in boxing. This is the third fight in a row clearly called wrong. Dana, wtf? You don't need dirty gambling money.
