I love Volk's heart and confidence but when the cage closes he won't be the same fighter that he's been with his previous opponents, he won't strike the same because he will always be thinking about the take downs. And that will play a huge part on his performance. I'm telling y'all a striker will be very hesitant to strike when going against an elite grappler. It's different and they won't realise that until It's crunch time. You see it proven time and time again with these Dagestanis.

I agree with Michael…there is something in the air. It's not teenage spirit…more like Aussie foot-funk, but it points to a Volk-Victory.
The biggest n best fight we missed out on was Khabib vs GSP at 165 catch weight an you canโt convince me otherwise. An they both wanted it but sadly ufc couldnโt make it happen. There wasnt another fight I thought Khabib could lose at that weight but that one would be very interesting. But either way they are still legends An love both fighters.

The biggest mistake MMA guys make when talking about Boxing, is the myth that Boxing gloves are big pillows..
Boxing gloves you use to spar with are very different from competition Boxing gloves for real matches!
Competition Boxing Gloves are not big pillows lol, they are like 2 bricks on your fists!! (They are solid as a rock and have very little give)..
And scientifically speaking Boxing gloves actually produce more force then a mma glove due to the larger surface area! (This has been proven)..
So the idea that Boxing gloves are "pillows" is a myth that is so far from reality ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
Canelo shattered BJS entire face with one uppercut! Broken Orbital Bone in 4 places and a broken cheekbone and a broken jaw, all caused by one single uppercut from these so called "pillow gloves" lol..
I wish MMA guys would go Box with competition boxing gloves on and i guarantee they would stop saying this stuff if they did…
Now i will say it's easier to defend/block punches with Boxing gloves compared to MMA gloves however..
