  1. Pô ele é uma Lenda. Dia triste. Mais chega o dia de todos. O tempo passa. Obrigado pela inspiração que deu para o esporte Mauricio Shogun Rua. 😔✊🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

  2. He was devastating in Pride, fought everyone regardless and won big. Also came back from serious injuries and became champ again in the UFC. Good luck for your future Shogun

  3. Still believe Shogun has one more title run left in him. Glover has already proved that age is just a number. Shogun has elite muay thai, a legendary chin, and an unfathomable level of mental toughness and grit. Would be absolutely unreal to see him fight Glover for the title in the twilight of both of their careers.

  4. My favorite fighter in MMA and all of combat sports. He's the one that really got me into the sport of MMA. One of the hardest hitters and could take punishment till the very end. His list of injuries was the only real thing hindering his career. Rua was one of those fighters who did everything well, striking, grappling, submissions, but his training was just never 100% because of injuries. But the fact that they kept throwing him in there with killers just shows the level of experience that Rua had. If retirement is in the horizon for Rua, then I say it's well deserved, champ. You've had one hell of a career.

  5. I wrestled in college in the USA 🇺🇸 but I'm a huge Shogun fan! What a legend, warrior, and class act that he is. Let's go Shogun Rua! 🇧🇷 🥊🥋
