Unrelated to the game but I love the pitch clock. Good lord do I. The game has a nice rhythm to it, and you're not going to bed after midnight. It was a beautiful game before, and even more so now.
I'm just loving the Jays outfield so far this year. I haven't seen all the games, but can already recall a handful of times that they have saved runs against.
It is so relaxing watching the Jays outfield. No more watching Teoscar jogging around nonchalantly picking up the ball then deciding where he should throw it. All these guys are into every play and know what they should do once they get the ball. When I played outfield I decided what to do before every pitch. You know on the ground throw to 2nd or to the cutoff guy. In the air look down the guys on base and see if they will go if you know you can catch them if they do. Teoscar was so clueless out there. That one fly ball where he jogged to the fence and it landed 10 feet away was the funniest/saddest thing I had ever watched an outfielder do!!
