Victor Osimhen’s future continues to heat up as the summer transfer window approaches, with Premier League sides Arsenal and Manchester United making official offers for the Nigeria international hitman.

Osimhen is presently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, but his future would appear to lie away from both of these clubs in the summer.

According to Arda Ozkurt, a Turkish transfer journalist, Arsenal and Man Utd have both launched bids for the player.

But the Premier League sides are not alone in following Osimhen: Barcelona, Liverpool and PSG are all following the case.

Indeed, there is even the possibility of remaining with Galatasaray, Ozkurt reports in bombshell news. While Fabrizio Romano claims the Nigerian will certainly leave in the summer, the Turk claims that Gala have put a mechanism in place to ensure they can afford his transfer fee.

“Victor Osimhen did not say anything about whether he will stay at Galatasaray or not. He is currently focused on the championship and will make his decision accordingly. If the player wants to stay here, Galatasaray has started preparations to secure his transfer fee,” he says on X.

Chelsea also a possibility

Osimhen has previously been announced as being destined for the Premier League, while FootballTransfers understands that the player has set his sights on moving to Chelsea.

Nigeria’s captain William Troost-Ekong claimed on TalkSport: “I know he’s a Chelsea fan, but I also know he’s had talks with all the top teams. It’s up to him what he chooses. He will fit into every team,” Troost-Ekong told TalkSport.

“I know Liverpool have spoken about getting a new striker next season. We will see.

“I’m also reading, like everyone else is, that he has a clause this summer. When he went to Galatasaray I think it worked out amazingly for him.

“I couldn’t see him playing there for another season, or anywhere else but the Premier League next season.”

Osimhen to the Premier League looks increasingly likely, but a question remains over which club he will move to.
