Antony has addressed his relationship with Man United manager Ruben Amorim, three months on from his loan move to Real Betis.
The winger, 25, has been reinvigorated since joining Betis from United in January, scoring four goals and logging four assists in 16 games.
Antony’s temporary move to Spain came after he badly struggled at Old Trafford following his £85million move from Ajax in the summer of 2022, with the Brazilian finding himself on the periphery under both Erik ten Hag and Amorim.
Antony scored just 12 goals and added five assists in 96 games for the Red Devils, despite being the club’s second most expensive signing of all-time.
Mail Sport understands there is no concrete indication as to whether or not United will part ways with the Brazilian on a permanent basis this summer.
However, there seems to be no bad blood from the player’s side towards his parent club or its head coach.
Antony revealed he had a good relationship with Ruben Amorim when he was at Man United

Amorim did not hand Antony a single start in the Premier League while they worked together
‘I’ve only had a short time working with [Amorim], but he’s a very good coach. A very intelligent coach,’ Antony told ESPN Brazil.
‘United are going through a difficult time at the moment, but he’s a good coach. I had a good relationship with him, but I needed a new challenge and I wish him all the luck in the world in this final stretch of the season.’
Antony went on to divulge his feelings towards Ten Hag, who managed him at Ajax, before they reunited at United.
The forward explained that, despite failing to win a regular place at United, he does not blame his former coach.
‘Erik ten Hag is a coach I’m very grateful to,’ Antony added. ‘He helped me a lot in the Netherlands, and in England too, even though the opportunities didn’t come the way I wanted to.
‘But that’s the coach’s choice, I don’t hold any grudges or anything. On the contrary, I’m very grateful for everything he’s done with me, for all the conversations too.
‘He’s a coach who will certainly be in this story because he helped me a lot.’
Betis CEO Ramon Alarcon previously revealed that Antony has expressed a desire to stay at the club for the long-term.

Betis do not have an option to buy Antony within their loan deal, although they are covering 84 per cent of his salary.
‘The other day Antony told me that he wanted to stay another year,’ Alarcon told Canal Sur’s El Pelotazo show.
However, Amorim was coy over Antony’s future when asked about his and Marcus Rashford’s before United’s visit to Nottingham Forest at the end of last month.
‘I’m planning the future but I don’t want to talk about the future in this moment. I just want to focus on the game,’ he said.
‘I know Rashford really well and everybody knows the talent that he has. So I already spoke about that. He’s a top player, if he wants.
‘So I’m not surprised and it’s the same with Antony. It’s a good thing we see our players doing well on loan in a different context. That can happen. It’s a good sign for the club.’
