Chelsea have at least 11 summer transfer targets for three different positions, according to David Ornstein.
The Blues are once again gearing up for a huge transfer window. Since BlueCo’s takeover in 2022, Chelsea have spent lavishly on signings, although tangible success is still proving elusive.

In light of Chelsea’s recent form, it is clear that yet more reinforcements will have to be brought in in what is bound to be another summer of huge change at Stamford Bridge.
According to The Athletic transfer insider David Ornstein, Maresca is unlikely to be sacked this summer due to Chelsea’s busy schedule with the Club World Cup and, on the contrary, he is actively involved in the planning for signings.

Chelsea’s 11 summer targets
Speaking during an appearance on NBC Sports, Ornstein rattled off a long list of players Chelsea are keeping tabs on ahead of the summer, with the Blues expected to bolster their side at centre-forward, on the wing and at centre-back.
For the No.9 position, the journalist namedropped well-known Blues targets Liam Delap and Benjamin Sesko, while he also added Eintracht Frankfurt star Hugo Ekitike, whose price tag has just been raised to €100 million, as an option Chelsea are considering.
On the wings, the likes of Nico Williams, Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens are being eyed. The latter two were already approached in January, while Williams was a target last summer.
Particularly intriguing were the names Ornstein mentioned as options for the defence. In addition to well-known targets like Marc Guehi and Dean Huijsen, the transfer expert also mentioned Jorrel Hato, Jarrad Branthwaite and Murillo.
