Liverpool moved to within three points of the Premier League title after a 1-0 win over Leicester City, whose immediate return to the Championship was confirmed with the result. 

Trent Alexander-Arnold came off the bench to put Arne Slot’s side on the brink of only the club’s second top-flight in 35 years. 

The Reds can be crowned as champions with a win against Tottenham at Anfield next week. More to follow.
