RANGERS have officially confirmed the signing of Aaron Ramsey on an initial six-month loan deal from Juventus with the option to buy.
The Welshman links up with the Scottish Champions from Italian outfit Juve, in what is a major coup for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side.
He finally ends his Juventus hell after playing just 112 minutes of action this campaign.
The 31-year-old Welsh international had plenty of options after Juve boss Max Allegri confirmed he would be departing, including offers from the Premier League.
Although the Gers were left desperately trying to complete Ramsey’s move from at the 11th hour.
The Scottish champions were left sweating right up to the SPFL’s midnight deadline – one hour after the English transfer window closed – with the sensational move for the former Arsenal ace balanced on a knife-edge.
Van Bronckhorst thought he had pulled off one of the coups of the transfer window when the Welsh legend rejected four Premier League clubs in favour of a move to Ibrox.
SunSport can reveal Rambo also had offers from two rival Serie A clubs, two clubs in Spain’s La Liga and turned down offers from Germany and Russia.

Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce were both keen to sign him too.
By yesterday lunchtime the in-demand midfielder had narrowed it down to a hat-trick of clubs which included one from the Premier League, a major club on the continent and Rangers.
He then boarded a private jet and set course for Scotland where he completed his Gers medical before the deal took a dramatic twist when an unknown hitch in Italy threatened to scupper the deal.
At that point it appeared touch and go whether Ramsey could complete the deal in time.
But the 31-year-old swept into Ibrox just before 9pm where fans had gathered to greet him, with Gers legend Ally McCoist describing the proposed move as the biggest since Paul Gascoigne joined Rangers from Lazio in 1995.
