Manchester United star Anthony Martial has been left red-faced after his £337,000 Lamborghini Aventador was taken away in the back of a recovery truck.
The French forward, who earns a reported £250,000-a-week, was seen standing by the side of the road in Manchester city centre as the luxury car was loaded onto the back of the truck.
It is not known why the car was taken away, but it is believed that it may have been due to a technical issue.
The 24-year-old, who joined United from Monaco in 2015, was seen looking on as the car was loaded onto the truck.
He was then seen getting into a taxi and heading off, leaving the car behind.
The Lamborghini Aventador is one of the most expensive cars on the market, with a starting price of £337,000.
It is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 engine and can reach speeds of up to 217mph.
The car also features a four-wheel drive system and a seven-speed automatic transmission.
Martial has been in good form for United this season, scoring 11 goals in all competitions.
He has been a regular starter for the Red Devils and has been linked with a move away from the club in recent weeks.
It is not known if the incident with the Lamborghini will have any effect on his future at the club.
However, it is sure to have been an embarrassing moment for the player, who is one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League.
