ARSENAL defender Pablo Mari could be set for a move to AC Monza with his agent heading to Italy, according to reports.
Mari, 28, spent the second half of last season out on loan at Serie A side Udinese.
And he could reportedly be set to remain in the league but switch to newly promoted Monza.
SunSport exclusively revealed that the Spaniard is one of eleven players Mikel Arteta is looking to get rid of this summer.
Mari has fallen way down the pecking order at Arsenal with Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba and Rob Holding all ahead of him.
He first arrived in North London on loan from Brazilian outfit Flamengo in 2020 before he made his transfer permanent.
Overall, he appeared 22 times in a Gunners shirt scoring one goal that came in the Europa League.
The centre-back has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce but a Turkish journalist is now claiming the deal may not happen with his agent in Italy.
Monza gained promotion to the Italian top flight for the first time last season and are looking to add experience to their squad.
They have been linked with the likes of Mauro Icardi and Edinson Cavani.
