Arsenal Target Moises Caicedo Updates Instagram After Failed Transfer

Moises Caicedo, the 19-year-old Ecuadorian midfielder, has made a major change to his Instagram account after using it to push for a failed transfer to Arsenal.

The talented youngster had been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners in the January transfer window, with reports suggesting that the club had made a bid of around £5 million for his services. However, the move failed to materialise and Caicedo remained with his current club, Independiente del Valle.

In the aftermath of the failed transfer, Caicedo took to Instagram to express his disappointment. He posted a picture of himself with the caption: “I’m still here”. The post was widely interpreted as a dig at Arsenal for not signing him.

Now, however, Caicedo has made a major change to his Instagram account. He has deleted all of his posts and changed his profile picture to a black and white image of himself. He has also changed his bio to read: “I’m still here, but I’m not the same”.

The move appears to be a sign that Caicedo is ready to move on from the failed transfer and focus on his career with Independiente del Valle. He is widely regarded as one of the most promising young players in South America and is expected to attract interest from some of Europe’s top clubs in the near future.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will make another move for Caicedo in the summer, but for now it appears that the Ecuadorian midfielder is ready to put the failed transfer behind him and focus on his career with his current club.
