ARSENAL are lining up a £20million move for on-loan Nottingham Forest right-back Djed Spence, according to reports.
Spence, who is currently on loan at Forest from fellow Championship outfit Middlesbrough, has had a standout season.
The England U21 international played a key role in Forest’s run which saw them beat Arsenal and Leicester City but lost in the quarter-finals to Liverpool.
Forest are also just THREE points off fifth and sixth place Sheffield United and Blackburn Rovers with two and three games in hand respectively.
And according to the Mirror, Arsenal are plotting a £20m move for Spence.
But rivals Tottenham and Manchester United could also make a move for the on-loan star.
German giants Bayern Munich has also been watching Spence regularly.
The youngster is contracted to Middlesbrough until 2024 but could be allowed to leave with the club developing the equally impressive Isiah Jones into their first-choice right-back.
After making his England U21 debut in the 2-1 win against Albania on Tuesday, Spence admitted his ambition is to play against the best in the Premier League.
He said: “I always want to push myself and play with the best players and best team.

“Of course it’s an ambition of mine to play in the Premier League. I try to stay level-headed. I don’t read too much into it.
“At the end of the day, I’m just here to enjoy my football. I need to stay focused, have tunnel vision and play well on the pitch.”
Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock says Spence has “got the tools” to make it at the top level.
He said: “He could be playing at a top club in England or in non-league in five years, I don’t know.
“There are not many players where you can say it’s all up to them personally how far they go – it’s what’s between the ears.
“Application, dedication, all these things come into it. He’s got the tools, there’s no doubt about that.”
