Bradley Barcola is set to be rewarded with a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain as the French giants aim to end speculation of a big-money summer transfer.

The 22-year-old has established himself as one of the world’s most exciting young wingers since his arrival at the Parc des Princes and he is being pursued by a host of top clubs after losing his place in Luis Enrique’s favoured starting XI to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

That is according to transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano, who posted on X: “Bradley Barcola’s new deal at Paris Saint-Germain will be discussed in the next weeks as part of the plans.

“The whole PSG management and staff wanted him to stay since day one of the summer window.”

Barcola’s current contract at PSG is due to expire in 2028, but the Ligue 1 side want to tie him down to a new long-term deal in order to ward off any suitors.

Arsenal to miss out on Bradley Barcola

Although Arsenal are now extremely unlikely to sign Barcola this summer, they are on the verge of announcing the arrival of Chelsea winger Noni Madueke.

A full agreement has been reached for the England international to join Mikel Arteta’s side, and he left Chelsea’s Club World Cup campaign ahead of their win over PSG in order to complete his medical at the Emirates Stadium.

Madueke will sign a five-year contract at Arsenal and he is expected to play a back-up role to Bukayo Saka next season.

The Gunners are also close to signing Sporting CP forward Viktor Gyokeres and Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera, with all three signings expected to be unveiled within the next week.
