Arsenal are expected to be extremely active during the upcoming summer transfer window as Mikel Arteta searches for much-needed reinforcements in attack.
Injuries have decimated their forward line this season and the Gunners are set to sign a new centre forward later this year, with Benjamin Sesko, Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres all of interest to the north London giants.
Arsenal’s 10 most expensive transfers of all time
Below, FootballTransfers runs through five players who could leave Arsenal this summer.
Oleksandr Zinchenko
Oleksandr Zinchenko was a crucial player for Arsenal in the months after arriving from Manchester City in 2022 but the Ukraine international struggled for game time in the most recent season.
Arsenal’s 10 biggest sales of all time
The emergence of Myles Lewis-Skelly at left-back has made Zinchenko an almost forgotten figure despite injuries, having made just five Premier League starts last season.
With Zinchenko’s contract running down, Arsenal will likely look to cash in on a player an avoid losing him for free next summer.

Takehiro Tomiyasu
When fully fit, Takehiro Tomiyasu has been a key player for Arsenal, but injuries have halted his progress in north London and with only one year remaining on his current deal, he could be sold this summer.
The recent arrivals of Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori, plus the emergence of academy wonderkid Myles Lewis-Skelly, means that Tomiyasu is surplus to requirements, and an exit beckons.
However, Arsenal may struggle to extract a huge transfer fee given the Japan star’s recent injury troubles.
Gabriel Jesus
Gabriel Jesus finally looked capable of becoming a reliable goal threat for Arsenal in late 2024, but an ACL injury ended his season early and he may have already played his last game for the Gunners.
With Arteta desperate for a new centre forward, Jesus could be sold in order to raise funds for Sesko, Isak or Gyokeres.
Furthermore, the Brazilian has two years remaining on his current contract at the Emirates Stadium, meaning Arsenal are running out of time to recoup their €52.2m investment.
Thomas Partey
Thomas Partey is out of contract at the end of June and early indications suggest he is unlikely to sign an extension, with his Arsenal career coming to an end.
Martin Zubimendi is set to take his place at the Emirates Stadium, with a deal virtually agreed for the Spain star, and Partey is expected to find a new club.
Barcelona are reportedly interested in a shock deal, while multiple Saudi Pro League clubs have also been linked with the Arsenal midfielder.

Jorginho
Just like Partey, Jorginho is also due to become a free agent this summer and he has reportedly signed a pre-contract agreement with Brazilian giants Flamengo.
As a result, his two-and-a-half year spell at Arsenal and his seven-year stay in the Premier League will soon be over.
Jorginho has played a bit-part role across the entirety of his Arsenal career, but his leadership skills will be sorely missed.
