HONOURS were even in West London as Brentford and Crystal Palace played out a drab 0-0 draw at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Christian Eriksen’s presentation to the home fans before the game was about as exciting as it got for the Bees fans.
The biggest talking point of the first half was referee Simon Hooper waving away shouts for a handball in the box by Palace defender Marc Guehi, and VAR sided with the official.
The second half wasn’t much better either.
Bees skipper Pontus Jansson drew a fine save out of Vicente Guaita with a header from a corner in what was a game of very few chances.
Patrick Vieira’s Palace dominated possession, but found it difficult to break down a stubborn Brentford backline.
On a positive note for Thomas Frank’s side, it ended a run of five Premier League defeats in a row.
Although it also made it six without a win.
Palace on the other hand have have now drawn four out of their last five.
