Benjamin Sesko is the face of a new era at Manchester United, with the Old Trafford club putting their faith in the Slovenia international striker after spending big to secure him from RB Leipzig.
United beat a glut of clubs who were eager to sign Sesko this summer, most notably Newcastle, who made the player a superior offer.
He has not come cheap, with the transfer package coming out at €85 million, but there is a clear belief at Old Trafford that he will be worth every penny.

Man Utd director of football Jason Wilcox has explained just why the club were so eager to snap up the striker, who netted more goals than any other U23 forward in Europe’s Big 5 leagues over the last couple of years.

What next for Sesko?
Sesko is expected to become Man Utd’s first-choice No.9 with immediate effect.
His arrival is expected to signal an end to Rasmus Hojlund’s Old Trafford career, with a damning report on Friday showing how poorly he is rated at the club. Joshua Zirkzee is set to become his main backup option.
Certainly, if Sesko hits the heights that Man Utd expect of him, he will be a very precious new addition indeed.
