Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has spoken out on his future with the club amid reports he will depart next week.
Ancelotti’s position is under scrutiny following Real Madrid’s heavy 5-1 aggregate loss by Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Their Champions League defence unravelled against the Gunners, with Real Madrid suffering a 2-1 defeat on Wednesday night at home having suffered a 3-0 loss away last week.
Several reports have since suggested that Ancelotti could leave Real Madrid after the Copa del Rey final on April 26.
Mail Sport also revealed the Italian has held talks with intermediaries over becoming the new Brazil coach.
Ancelotti, whose contract ends in 2026, was asked about his future ahead of facing Athletic Club on Sunday.

The Italian says club president Florentino Perez (right) ‘is showing me even more support’
He said: ‘I don’t want to talk about my future now. I will speak to the club at the end of the season, not to you. I don’t want to talk now.
‘Brazil? I don’t discuss my future now. Full focus on the two titles remaining’.
Ancelotti added: ‘Florentino Pérez is showing me even more support and love now than when things go well’
‘I’ve always had a great relationship with the club and we’ll always continue that way. Everything we do will always be together.
‘We’ll never have any kind of confrontation. To say there’s a confrontation between the club and me is misleading people.’
Diego Fernandes, an influential figure in the sports industry, has been a regular visitor to the Bernabeu in recent weeks and is said to have held talks with Ancelotti and his camp over becoming Brazil’s new manager.
Although Fernandes has no official links to the Brazil FA, his presence in Madrid is said to be ‘discreet and highly strategic’ with a view to persuading Ancelotti to take the first national team job in a glittering coaching career at Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Napoli and Everton.
The veteran coach has led Real Madrid to two LaLiga titles and lifted the Champions League twice after rejoining the club in 2021.
