Date:

GRAHAM POTTER’S first game in charge of Chelsea ended all square as RB Salzburg hit back to earn a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Raheem Sterling gave the hosts the lead three minutes into the second half, curling a sumptuous effort into the far corner from the edge of the box.

And it looked as though the Blues were seeing out the game in a professional manner as they closed in on a first Champions League win of the season.

But the Austrian visitors conjured up an equaliser 15 minutes from time as Noah Okafor’s deflected effort crept under Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The result leaves Chelsea bottom of their Champions League group with just one point from two European games following their 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb last week.
