CHELSEA lost Mason Mount just half an hour into the Club World Cup final against Palmeiras.
The 23-year-old was forced off with injury on 30 minutes with the scores level at 0-0.
He was replaced by USA star Christian Pulisic at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Mount was substituted with a knock in last Saturday’s FA Cup victory over Plymouth.
The 2-1 win took its toll on the Blues’ line-up as Mount joined team-mates Hakim Ziyech and Cesar Azpilicueta in the treatment room.
And Chelsea assistant Michel Arno admitted afterwards: “We have a few problems.
“Mason we had to take out, Hakim we had to take out, Azpi felt his hamstring.

“We had a few muscle problems, but they’re hopefully only little ones.”
Mount has been a key man for the Blues this term already, scoring seven goals and seven assists so far.
