CHELSEA have agreed a £47.5million deal to sign Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.
The England winger has settled on personal terms with the Blues, agreeing a five-year contract with an option for a further 12 months.
Sterling, 27, had one year remaining on his City contract, and has opted to leave the Etihad.
According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Chelsea are now organising a medical for the former Liverpool ace to undergo.
Sterling has already spoken to new boss Thomas Tuchel and has been left impressed by the German.
After his medical, Sterling could fly out to the United States to join up with his new team-mates on their pre-season tour.
