Chelsea Fan Claims He Spent 5 Days in Polish Jail After Wroclaw Clashes with Real Betis Fans

A Chelsea fan has claimed he only found out about the club’s Conference League final win after allegedly being locked up in a Polish jail for five days.

Chelsea earned a 4-1 victory against Spanish side Real Betis in the final on Wednesday night, despite having trailed 1-0 at half-time.

Cole Palmer set up goals for Enzo Fernandez and Nicolas Jackson in a six-minute second half spell to turn the match into the Blues’ favour.

Jadon Sancho and Caicedo struck late on to seal victory for Enzo Maresca’s side.

Prior to the match, the two groups of supporters became involved in a series of ugly confrontations.

Riot police were deployed to the streets as hooligans from both clubs wreaked havoc in Wroclaw, Poland.

He said: ‘I have just been released from Polish jail. Just found out that Chelsea won the Conference League.
