Chelsea are ‘pushing’ for the signing of Juventus attacker Kenan Yildiz, according to a report.
The Turkish wonderkid is regarded as one of the brightest up-and-coming talents in European football, but his time at Juventus hasn’t always been rosy. On more than one occasion, Yildiz has been left frustrated with his lack of senior minutes.

The 19-year-old needed a clear-the-air talk with Massimiliano Allegri last season to get game time, and similarly, he is said to have had problems with Thiago Motta prior to his recent sacking.
It has been a different story under new boss Igor Tudor so far, with Yildiz seeing more minutes, but this has done little to quieten the speculation surrounding his future.
It is shaping up to be another huge summer for Juventus after the failed Motta experiment and Yildiz, despite reports to the contrary over the past two weeks, could be one of the protagonists of the window as far as the Old Lady is concerned.

Chelsea pushing for Yildiz
Following a cash injection from their owners, the Agnelli family, Juventus reportedly decided that Yildiz is untouchable this summer, and there has even been talk of a new contract – which would be his third since joining the club in 2022 – but the teenager has suitors.
Indeed, Footmercato now reports that Chelsea, who have been linked with him for months, are ‘accelerating negotiations after initial contact with Juventus regarding his availability.

Chelsea are aware that the Bianconeri are reluctant to sell, but they are said to be ‘pushing’ for the Serie A giants to entertain the prospect of a potential sale.
The Blues have yet to make a formal offer for Yildiz, but there seems to be confidence that they can get Juventus to soften their stance in the knowledge that, despite the funds from the Agnellis, they will need some big-money sales to fund their rebuild this summer.
