Chelsea are reportedly considering sending Tyrique George out on loan for the duration of the 2025-26 season in order to improve his development.

The 19-year-old winger has made 26 senior appearances for Chelsea so far this season, including 10 starts, and he has established himself as a regular in the first-team set-up at Stamford Bridge since the appointment of Enzo Maresca last summer.

As a result, they are open to sending the teenager on a season-long loan, according to The Athletic, amid substantial interest in his signature.

George, an England U19 international, scored his first senior Chelsea goal during their 3-0 win over Legia Warsaw in April and, alongside close friend Josh Acheampong, he is regarded as one of the club’s brightest academy prospects.

Who will Chelsea sell this summer?

In addition to George, Chelsea are also hoping to send Marc Guiu out on loan for the 2025-26 campaign, as per The Athletic, and Ipswich Town are among the clubs interested in finalising a deal following Liam Delap’s exit.

Mike Penders, Gabriel Slonina, Omari Kellyman, Kendry Paez and Mathis Amougou could leave west London on loan too.

Meanwhile, Djordje Petrovic, Joao Felix, Christopher Nkunku, Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Armando Broja, Axel Disasi, Renato Veiga and Carney Chukwuemeka are all for sale, while Kepa Arrizabalaga is on the verge of joining Arsenal.

Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke could also depart, with the pair no longer considered ‘untouchable’ by the Stamford Bridge hierarchy. The Transfers Podcast understands that Arsenal are interested in the former, while the latter has been linked with a summer move to the Emirates Stadium too.
