Chelsea could be set for a €163 million cash injection as they look to sell Christopher Nkunku, Joao Felix, Renato Veiga and Raheem Sterling this summer.

A ‘bomb squad’ has been formed at Stamford Bridge for a second consecutive year and Enzo Maresca’s side are now focused on authorising several player sales after a flurry of transfer activity at the start of the window.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea have set their asking price for Felix at €50m, amid interest from his former club Benfica, and they are holding out for a transfer fee of €23m for Sterling after his underwhelming loan stint at Arsenal.

Meanwhile, the Blues are hoping to turn a major profit on Veiga. The Portugal international joined Chelsea for a measly €14m last summer, but they are demanding €40m to sanction a sale this year, with Atletico Madrid currently in advanced talks over a deal.

However, Todd Boehly and the hierarchy at Stamford Bridge have admitted defeat when it comes to Nkunku. Chelsea were initially asking for a fee of €75m for the Frenchman in January, but they have now lowered their demands to €50m, according to The Athletic, as they look to offload him ahead of the new season.

Nkunku has struggled with form and fitness since arriving at Stamford Bridge in 2023 and despite an encouraging Club World Cup campaign, he is still expected to leave the club this summer.

Who will Chelsea sell this summer?

In addition to the aforementioned four stars, Chelsea are also eager to sell a number of other stars as they look to trim down Maresca’s first-team squad, which currently contains 43 players.

Axel Disasi, Ben Chilwell and Alfie Gilchrist are all expected to depart, while Trevoh Chalobah and Benoit Badiashile may be offloaded if suitable offers arrive.

Chelsea are determined to sell both Lesley Ugochukwu and Carney Chukwuemeka, and they could be joined by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who may head towards the exit door despite establishing himself as a reliable squad player in west London.

In attack, Armando Broja and David Datro Fofana appear destined to leave, while Nicolas Jackson may be sold if Chelsea receive an offer in excess of €81m (£70m).
