Chelsea have reached a total agreement to sell Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Everton for an initial fee of €28.7 million (£25m), according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 26-year-old followed Enzo Maresca from Leicester City to Stamford Bridge last summer, however he was unable to establish himself as a regular in west London and he only started two Premier League matches during his debut season at the club.
Everton launched an official bid for the Englishman on Monday morning and football transfer news expert Romano has now confirmed that a full agreement has been reached between all parties.
“Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Everton, here we go! Permanent deal agreed with Chelsea and player side,” he posted on X.
“Understand fee is worth £25m fixed plus add-ons up to £28/29m total package. KDH, [Lesley] Ugochukwu and [Carney] Chukwuemeka are all leaving Chelsea on permanent deal.”
Everton’s total outlay on Dewsbury-Hall could reach €33.3m if add-on clauses are met, which falls slightly below the €35.5m fee Chelsea paid to sign him from Leicester last summer.
Chelsea’s summer transfer plans
As mentioned by Romano, Chelsea are also close to selling both Ugochukwu and Chukwuemeka, with the former on the verge of joining Burnley and the latter in talks to rejoin Borussia Dortmund on a permanent deal following a loan spell last season.
Chelsea are also expected to sell the likes of Alfie Gilchrist, Axel Disasi, Ben Chilwell, Renato Veiga, Raheem Sterling, Armando Broja, David Datro Fofana, Tyrique George and Christopher Nkunku before the end of the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, they are closing in on a deal for RB Leipzig superstar Xavi Simons, and Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho remains a top target too.
