Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson has reportedly rejected offers from both AC Milan and Napoli as he wants to remain in the Premier League this summer.

The Senegal international could be set to leave Stamford Bridge before the end of the 2025 summer transfer window, but he has set his sights on extending his stay in the English top flight even if he departs Chelsea.

Napoli reportedly made contact with Jackson’s entourage before signing Udinese striker Lorenzo Lucca on loan last week, while Milan have sounded him out as a top target amid their pursuit of a new centre forward.

However, The Sun state that Jackson “loves playing in England” and wants to remain in the Premier League even if he is sold by Chelsea this summer.

The 24-year-old has been the first-choice number nine at Chelsea since joining the club in 2023, but the arrival of Liam Delap and the subsequent signing of Joao Pedro has pushed him down the pecking order.

Jackson played just 98 minutes from an available 630 at the new-look summer Club World Cup and he was an unused substitute during Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the final, with Pedro selected from the start and Delap chosen as his replacement in the second-half.

Although Chelsea are open to keeping Jackson at the club, they are now willing to offload him if a suitable offer is submitted.

Nicolas Jackson to join Man Utd?

As exclusively revealed by FootballTransfers back in May, Jackson is on the radar of Manchester United and we understand that he is open to a summer move to Old Trafford.

Sources have informed us that Chelsea will demand a fee of at least €81 million (£70m) for the Senegal star and although Man Utd are interested, they are yet to initial formal negotiations with Enzo Maresca’s side.
