“For me, I love watching Rabada. My favorite bowler to watch currently,” Anderson stated.

He further elaborated on the reasons behind his choice, highlighting Rabada’s effortless bowling style and his continuous development as a cricketer. Describing Rabada’s bowling prowess, Anderson praised his ability to generate pace effortlessly.

“He’s just so effortless. Like, he can bowl quick,” Anderson added.

Anderson explains reason behind his pick

One of the aspects that Anderson admires the most about Rabada is his attacking mindset.

“He is so attacking as well, he wants wickets. He is not bothered about going for runs, he just wants wickets and he hunts them,” Anderson explained how the aggressive approach to bowling sets Rabada apart and makes him an exciting player to watch.

Anderson, who himself is considered one of the best bowlers of his generation, holds Rabada in high regard. His endorsement of Rabada’s skills is a testament to the South African’s exceptional talent and the impact he has made in the world of Test cricket. Notably, Rabada has so far taken 291 wickets in 62 Tests. Anderson, on the other hand, has bagged a whopping 690 wickets and is the third-highest wicket-taker in the history of the longest format.
