Reason for the Postponement of Road Safety World Series 2023

However, the tournament has now postponed indefinitely. According to an official media release by Leicestershire County Cricket Club, the decision to postpone the tournament was taken due to logistical issues. It also said that the organizers will try to reschedule the tournament in 2024.

“The much-anticipated Road Safety World Series (RSWS) UK, originally scheduled at Uptonsteel County Ground, Leicester, from September 23rd to October 1st, 2023, has regrettably been postponed indefinitely. The decision comes as a result of unforeseen logistical issues. The organizers are actively working on rescheduling the tournament for the following year. Further updates regarding the Road Safety World Series UK 2024, will be communicated in due course. We will be announcing further updates as we prepare to unveil details of the tournament,” read a statement issued by Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
