Nottingham Forest’s Champions League hopes are hanging by a thread after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Chasing all three points to close the gap on Chelsea and Newcastle, Forest stumbled again despite Murillo equalising after Eberechi Eze’s opener from the penalty spot.

The result leaves Nuno Espirito Santo’s side two points adrift of fifth place.
