Erling Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, has fired a warning to Manchester City as she revealed that every player sees the club as ‘dreamland’.
The 20-year-old Borussia Dortmund striker has been linked with a move to the Premier League champions, with reports suggesting that City are willing to pay a club-record fee for the Norwegian.
Raiola, who also represents the likes of Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has now warned City that they will have to compete with other clubs for Haaland’s signature.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Raiola said: “Every player dreams of playing for Manchester City, it’s like dreamland. But there are other clubs in the world that are also very interesting and that’s why we have to look at all the possibilities.
“We have to speak to all the clubs and then make a decision. We have to look at all the possibilities and then make a decision.”
Raiola also revealed that Haaland is not in a rush to make a decision on his future, and that he is happy at Dortmund.
“Erling is very happy at Dortmund,” Raiola said. “He is very happy with the club and the fans. He is very happy with the coach and the team.
“He is very happy with the development he has had in the last year and a half. He is very happy with the progress he has made.
“He is not in a rush to make a decision. He is very happy at Dortmund and he is very happy with the club.”
Haaland has been in sensational form this season, scoring 33 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions.
The Norwegian has been linked with a move to City for some time, and it appears that Raiola is keen to ensure that his client has all the options available to him before making a decision.
It remains to be seen whether City will be able to convince Haaland to make the move to the Etihad, but it is clear that Raiola is determined to ensure that his client has all the information he needs before making a decision.
