I Played for England but Quit Football for Fashion – Now I Make £35m-per-Year and Have a Shop Opening on Oxford Street
My name is David Beckham and I used to be a professional footballer for England. I was born in London and started playing football at a young age. I was scouted by Manchester United at the age of 14 and went on to play for them for 11 years. During that time, I won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and the UEFA Champions League. I also played for Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan, and Paris Saint-Germain.
In 2003, I was made captain of the England national team and went on to make 115 appearances for them. I was the first Englishman to play 100 times for his country and I scored 17 goals. I was also the first Englishman to win the UEFA Champions League with two different clubs.
However, in 2013, I decided to retire from football and pursue a career in fashion. I had always been interested in fashion and had been designing my own clothes since I was a teenager. I had also been involved in a number of fashion campaigns and had even designed a line of underwear for H&M.
So, in 2013, I decided to launch my own fashion label, David Beckham. The label has been a huge success and I now have a range of clothing, accessories, and fragrances. I also have a number of high-profile collaborations with brands such as Adidas, Belstaff, and Kent & Curwen.
My fashion label has been so successful that I now make an estimated £35 million per year. I have also opened a number of stores around the world, including one on London’s iconic Oxford Street.
I am proud of what I have achieved in the fashion industry and I am grateful for the opportunities that football has given me. I am also proud of my achievements on the pitch and I am thankful for the support I have received from my fans over the years.
