Newcastle United are willing to submit a €58 million (£50m) summer offer for West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus, FootballTransfers has been told.

Eddie Howe is desperate to bolster his first-team squad with the addition of a new right winger this summer and he has identified Kudus as a key target amid his uncertain future at West Ham.

FootballTransfers understands that Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all interested in signing Kudus ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, while sources state that Newcastle have earmarked him as a key target following their inability to sign Anthony Elanga.

The 23-year-old is seen as an ideal candidate to improve Newcastle’s attacking depth, but Nottingham Forest are reluctant to sanction a sale after qualifying for Europe for the first time since 1996.

As a result, the Magpies are now looking at different options and we understand that Kudus is among their primary targets.

Newcastle target Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott

FootballTransfers has also been told that Newcastle have sounded out Liverpool star Harvey Elliott as an alternative to Kudus as he continues to be linked with an Anfield exit.

The 22-year-old won the Player of the Tournament award at the U21 European Championship this summer, after scoring five goals in five games as England retained their crown, and he is being watched by several top clubs as a possible summer transfer beckons.

Elliott only started two Premier League matches for Liverpool last season and he is open to leaving Arne Slot’s side this summer in order to secure regular game time.
